Directional Interpolation

Method:

• Compute the low frequency direction using a Roberts' gradient operator.
• Interpolate the angle estimates to the higher resolution grid
• Directionally interpolate the low resolution data using the high resolution angle estimate
• Blend the directional estimate with a bilinear estimate based on our confidence in the directional estimate
